NO for NOlympia in Beijing

If you are still asking yourself whether you should boycott the Olympic Games in Beijing this year, here are some reasons for a boycott:

In some articles the Dalai Lama declines a boycott of the Olympic Games in China but it’s possible that he only doesn’t want to add fuel to the flames which burn his country. Another reason might be that he is afraid that a boycott of the olympics would not improve the situation in Tibet. Both aspects are understandable BUT: one can’t celebrate a international sports event and the “Olympic Peace” with murderers!

So, how can this problem be solved? Isn’t it possible to come up to both sides of this issue? Yes, it is: NOlympia will go on and will boycott the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 AND we will pay attention to the cruelties in Tibet and every injustice committed by the Chinese leaders.
